About Jill Hendrix

I'm a bookstore owner and business coach. I have a B.A. in History from Yale University. After college, I worked briefly in editorial at St. Martin's Press and then for a series of internet startups. I founded Fiction Addiction in 2001 in my hometown of Greenville, SC and started a bookstore coaching business in 2019. 

I'm a past president of the Southern Independent Booksellers Association, former Treasurer of the South Carolina Academy of Authors, and current dean of the Inventory Management Module of The Professional Bookseller School's Bookseller Certification program. 

I'm a fan of Profit First by Michael Michalowicz, the Model by Brooke Castillo, and believe in the power of free speech and open-minded discussion to highlight truth, principles and best practices.
